Michael R. Lackmeyer 

Mr. Lackmeyer graduated from Baylor University School of Law in 1970, and began practicing adoption and family law in the central Texas area.  He has provided legal services for several Texas adoption agencies and is approved by the department of family and Protective Services (CPS). 

Mr. Lackmeyer has been a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys since 1998.  He holds a rating of AV at Martindale Hubbells. 

​Mr. Lackmeyer provides legal services for private adoptions in Texas, i.e., clients who may have founds a birth mother in Texas and are looking for assistance in termination of parental rights for adoption.  He is well known for his work with families who are adopting from the Department of Family Protective Services foster and foster to adopt program and he continues to provide legal services for step-parents and relative adoptions.

Adoption/social workers are available on staff to counsel and work with birth parents prior to delivery.  They are available to offer assistance in the hospital setting should it be needed.  Staff is also available to work with reunion and adoption related issues.
