Mr. Lackmeyer graduated from Baylor University School of Law in 1970, and began practicing adoption and family law in the central Texas area.  He has provided legal services for several Texas adoption agencies and is approved by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) also known as CPS (Child Protective Services). 

Mr. Lackmeyer has been a fellow member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys since 1998. He holds a rating of AV at Martindale Hubbells. 

​Mr. Lackmeyer provides legal services for private adoptions in Texas, i.e., clients who may have found a birth mother in Texas and are looking for assistance in termination of parental rights for adoption.  He is well known for his work with families who are adopting from the Texas Department of Family Protective Services foster to adopt program and he continues to provide legal services for step-parents and relative adoptions.

Adoption/social workers are available on staff to counsel and work with birth parents prior to and/or after delivery.  They are available to offer assistance in the hospital setting should it be needed.
